Blogger Issues?

I've been having difficulty leaving comments on some blogger blogs the last couple of weeks.  Is anyone else experiencing this?

Please leave a comment...

hehehehehehehehehe

I hope your work, health and weather are all letting you get some mental health time with nature and your motorbike.

  2. I have only had problems if I am using the mobile version of the page. When using the standard web version, even if on a mobile device, then no issues at all. With the mobile version, it opens a text box, lets you type in all you want, click post and the comment just disappears.

You're not letting work get in the way are you?

  4. Hi Lori
Yep, funny things happening here too. The worst problem is attaching photos to the blog. The first one is usually ok but the subsequent ones require clicking multiple times in quick succession to bring them up.
    Cheers.

P.S I see bobscoot hasn't been taking his medication again ;-)

  6. The main trouble I find with leaving comments is finding time to read everyone's blogs. Oh wait, that isn't what you mean.

Seriously though I cannot leave a comment when viewing in Firefox whether on my work iMac or home iMac. I always have to switch over to Safari and then it is okay.

I am having troubles attaching pictures. Sometimes it takes several attempts to attach one picture. Seems to work better if I have iPhoto closed.

Go figure. Hope Blogger gets it figured out soon.

  7. Keep in mind that Blogger is part of Google, which has been having lots of trouble with the launch of its new social networking gimmick. I wouldn't be surprised if that wasn't part of the problem.

  8. So far I haven't any troubles, but haven't been online every night.
I pretty much use firefox all the time at home.

  9. Dear Steel Cupcake:

I have difficulty leaving comment's on Brady's blog and generally have to switch browsers. Also, placing photographs on my own blog has become a chore with Blogger timing out before many of the photos are processed.

  10. Yep, I have been having trouble as well and I wasn't able to leave comments either, even on my own blog! That lasted for about a week, but all is well again now. I just sulked and left the computer alone for a while and when I came back to it, all was well. I guess it was a bit like one or two of my early relationships then.

  11. Dear Steel Cupcake:

I have gotten into the bad habit of skimming over somew of the mode detailed ride report-type blogs, with the intent of going back and reading them more closley when I have more time. Thn I never find tine to go back. Today is Sunday, July 3rd, and I am taking the time to read your old blogs and to comment appropriately.

    Fondest regards,

  16. Dear Steel Cupcake:

Well, the BMW event of the year is going to kick off in less than a week, and I am heartbroken knowing that you will not be there. Hopefully, these blogging difficulties that you speak of aren't masking something more sinister.

  17. Dear Friends! Thank you for your patience. With the blogger issues and vacation and the absence of my muse things have been quite here on the motorbike front. Don't get me wrong...riding has been taking place. Just not the exciting, travel log kind of riding. But I do have one under the belt and will try to do it justice. Thank you!

  18. @ Raftnn: Was it only the computer driving you nuts?? ;)

@ RichardM: Unfortunately you got it correctly...work is getting in the way. Hopefully I can climb out of my hole and get back into the swing with everyone else. Has your mobile app started behaving better? Seems the web version for me is acting better now.

@ Bobskoot: I am highly depressed it was only a test. :(

@ Geoff James: I haven't had issues with posting pics. How could I since I haven't been posting?? ;) I'll be trying soon. I hope that your trials have cleared up.

  19. @ Trobairitz: LOL. I know exactly what you mean!! I didn't even think of trying something other than FireFox. IE just isn't an option for me.

@ David: I hadn't even thought of a google release connection. How do you find this stuff out? You are so damn good at snooping stuff out.

@ bluekat: I hope you never experienced any issues! So nice and calm.

@ Jack: Just Brady's blog? That has to be more than just coincidence... ;) You aren't the only one with image problems it seems. I hope those have cleared up.

  20. @ Gary: On your own blog even?? My issues weren't quite that bad. But isn't it frustrating when you type everything in and get in this perpetual loop?

@ Jack: Look forward to your comments. :)

@ irondad: I agree. Things seems to be working better after a rocky couple of weeks? Cruel?? Maybe more "evol". LOL

@ Dar: Sounds like the same issues. Hope they have cleared up. I enjoy your blog BTW. We have the same decorating "styles". hehe

@ George F: Hope your issues have cleared away. All is getting better, thanks for asking. Will be catching up with you soon!

@ Jack: I'm heartbroken too! Especially knowing that I will not be there to heckle...errr cheer you on with the rest of the scallywags!! Record it for us!

  21. In the last month I have had problems trying to leave comments on other peoples blogs. I think I have found a way to do it with no problems. When I fill out the comment box and choose a profile, I pick Google. When it asks me to log in, I DO NOT click the remember me box. It seems to work best that way.
    Erik.
