What's in the box??

Ok...too many people have been asking that question on their own blogs. Like Trobairitz and Canajun.

And I really like the luck they have had with the contents of theirs. Of course, Trobairitz's contained a little more bling. But hey, farkles and presents are always a great surprise.

So I have to ask you...what is in this box?

PS. I suck at keeping secrets and surprises. Poor Oilburner usually gets his Christmas presents a week early because I am too excited to keep it under wraps. This ain't Oilburner's though...

    1. Hmmm...I would either kill myself or kill the bike (out of not riding it like it is meant to be ridden). Of all the bikes my dealer has ridden over 40 years, he said this is the only one that has ever scared him.

  3. Hmmm, "Made in Germany". I'll have to go with another bike. BMW R9T?

    1. The R9T is definitely a pretty bike. Just not to my liking for what I want to do on a bike. I mean, I like naked, but not quite that much. :-)

  4. Hmmm I am with the others, Made in Germany and Motorad makes one wonder. Of course it does cut down on the possibilities. Ohhh I like Richard's idea of the R9T. Those are sweet bikes.

But I am wondering if you went a little more dual sport like. Or maybe a scooter!!!!

  5. Thanks Lori, for supporting the German economy once again, out of personal preference I side with RichardM and opt for the R9T.

  6. I completely missed the motorad.com on the bottom. Another guess, the new GS with watercooled heads...

    3. Well, if you are going to go down that line...you might as well not hold back, and just say that they hang down low, too. :) At least they are firm.

I was starting to feel a bit sorry for you two, having to sell your beloved bikes and missing out on the passion of riding but work was getting in the way . . . blah, blah. I was shedding a tear inside and then -- WHAM-O you come up with this box.

Now I'm thinking there is a companion box . . . or has he opened his already ?

    1. So you bolstered my ego by letting me think that I actually had you fooled for a little bit. Thank you. :-)

As a matter of fact, Oilburner also received a box. He wasn't as interested in the unveiling. In addition, he has been so sick he hasn't even ridden it!! I rode it home for him. Wow...all I can say about the new engine: WOW!!
