I wish we had smell-o-vision. These are heavenly.
The front planter is presenting these:
The shrubs at the other end of the house are covered in these:

The thermometer showed:
Come on!!! 66F at 6 p.m. on Jan 29!!! And I'm stuck at work. No riding for me. The weather is supposed to get colder for the weekend.
I'll still have to hop on the bike. Here's to hoping you can get away too. :)

Riding the Wet Coast
Hi Bob, I wonder about the havoc being wreaked. The dogwoods and cherry trees are starting to bloom...a hard frost is going to do a lot of damage. On the other hand, if we never get a winter...bad for the planet, good for us. I guess. :)
DeleteWe pressure washed that into the sidewalk last year. But isn't somewhere we see it every day. So fun to "stumble" across it.
Bad weekend weather is quite normal!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, you are right. I remember a couple years ago...eight weeks of beautiful weather during the week, and rain every weekend. Though right now I sit in the office, watching rain, and doding tornado warnings.
DeleteThe weather sure has been all over the place. I bet it is nice to see the flowers though.
ReplyDeleteOur rain and clouds are supposed to go away this weekend and fingers crossed we'll see 55˚ and sunshine. I am not holding my breath though.
I will keep my fingers crossed that your weather turns good this weekend. It would be so nice to get out on a longer ride and stretch the proverbial legs. I'm hoping we can do that same. Though...the microcar museum will permanently close in a couple weeks. Might have to see if we can make it down there.
DeleteHow is riding during Spring working out for you. Inform us more of your adventures. Have you ever road on any tires from Pirelli Motorcycle Tires
ReplyDeleteRiding is slow this year. Weather, gumption, and motivation are keeping the bikes on short ride leashes. Hopefully we can change that soon. I haven't put any Pirelli M/C tires on the bikes yet. Will have to look when the time comes, but I am enjoying the PR3's on the street bike so far.
DeleteI thought colors were gone this time of year and the reverted to b/w.
ReplyDeleteYou know, we were talking about what we should plant in the garden, just this morning. It really seems that Spring has sprung!
