Pam at Helmet or Heels has graciously offered me my 15 minutes of fame today. Although I don't quite have the same recollections of cyber stalking that she does. :)
Pam graciously asked if I was interested in participating in her "Profile of Female Motorcyclists" series. To which I replied "YES." Then I promptly came at a lose of time and tongue, not necessarily in that order. Can you believe that? ME!?!? At a loss for words? So out of character.
I procrastinated, and Pam gently prodded every great while. Very nicely, not pushy. I greatly appreciate her giving me time, and still pasting my mug up on her blog. Thank you, Pam!!!
I simple love her series profiling female riders. I've been introduced to so many other women and now have so many more blogs to follow!
Without further ado... BeemerGirl a.k.a Steel Cupcake or Lori

I know!!! So hard to believe, isn't it? But all true. I assure you. ;)
DeleteYou are famous! That is a great interview and a nice collection of photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks Richard. I had to struggle with 'telling the truth". Hehe
DeleteNow you are even more famous.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy reading your blog Lori and it was nice to learn a little history about the woman behind the Steel Cupcake.
Always after you. :) I enjoyed your profile there too. There was something there you didn't know?
DeleteAlthough...I still haven't related the story behind 'Steel Cupcake' yet. Someday...
One of these days you and I are going to adventure together and have some great reports that are gonna make everyone wish they were us! :)
Well done, thank you for sharing... even if it took a little coaxing.
ReplyDeleteCoaxing, very diplomatic. :) hehe. Good to see you again Troubadour!!
DeleteYay! I'm so glad you said yes. I'd like the series to continue so ladies let me know if you're interested!
ReplyDeleteThank you Pam!! Hopefully it will prompt a few more.
DeleteHumilty is not your strong point....( I would be worse though!!!!)
ReplyDeleteWell dear, it was about me... HEHEHEHEHEHEHE. But thank you for muddling through it. ;)
DeleteWoo-hoo - you go girl! Reads really well and is a terrific advertisement for women getting out on two wheels. In fact, I've really enjoyed the whole series of Pam's contributors.
ReplyDeleteWise advice on not letting those close to you teaching someone to drive. I was a little sharp teaching Jennie to drive early in our relationship. She pulled on the handbrake in the middle of a busy road in town and refused to move until I apologised. Lesson learned and professional driving lessons followed very soon after....
